The cook in pictures.....
Some basic ingredients:
Chopped up the celery and onion, sauteed them until slightly translucent, added them to the stuffing mix along with the butter and water as per the instructions on the Stovetop Stuffing box. Combined the ground turkey, turkey sausage and some seasoning salt, and placed it in a 2 gallon zip lock bag, and got it to an even thickness.
Sliced the left and right side of the bag so it could be opened lengthwise. Topped the turkey with the stuffing and rolled it up:
Placed it on a rack/pan, a bit of water in the pan so drippings don't burn, and cooked it indirect on the kettle for 1.6 hours at approx. 300 degrees:
Done when 165 degrees internal temp:
Plated... This was delicious...
