last night, started with sweet onions

soon afterwards, it was removed, rested then sliced.

As usual, tasty looking meal, Jim. Tri-tip looks nice and juicy. I really gotta start using cast iron cookware on my grills and make more efficient use of my grill capacity. You have a knack for cooking your whole meal on the grill.
 
Meat looks delicious. Have never had tri tip that I know of. What other cut does it most remind you of?
 
That Stubbs marinade really gives that TT a nice color to it and you cooked it to perfection!!! Nice sides too, excellent looking meal Jim!!

The tri tip looks absolutely delicious!
 
Fine looking plate as usual. Someone asked what other cut of meat is similar, I don't think there is personally.
