Happy Saturday evening..busy day folks..if your Sat's are like mine they are filled with all the great stuff you can't get done during the week..in hopes of watching football Sunday uninterrupted while eating and drinking way too much and waking up Monday saying "crap! Wish it was Friday"
Any way ...started with some strips salted and oiled and some shrooms ready five in my favorite BBQ sauce pan!!
While I was out starting the grill..these 2 are becoming the best of friends!
Steaks on a hot fire!! About 1 minute a side...I figured we were pushing 700 lid temp!
On with the shrooms!
While they were simmering I kept Ollie busy in the garage with the car stopper!
Added some cream and worst sauce to the shrooms(doesn't look like much but it's wonderful!! Thanks to Mr Wolgast!!!try it you will agree!)
And plated up with some easy brown rice quinoa and simple salad and blue cheese dressing!! Of course a cold Alaskan.
And we are having a balmy 30 so it was fire pit tonight!
