I forgot to post for about 8 years but all my Webers are still doing solid work. Grilled jalapeños not pictured.

That is a 30 year old green kettle with an additional, elevated 18.5” cooking grate.

I didn’t really need the extra space tonight, but I like using it because food browns really well up near the dome lid.
 
what was holding the pork chops under the grate?

I am not familiar with the setup...looks interesting


That thread above has a photo with more detail. It’s just an 18.5” grate with stainless hardware to elevate it above the 22” grate. Almost the same meal.... same cast iron skillet too.
