The Day After...

Jim Lampe

Yesterday, the weather was decent, partly sunny skies with temps in the low 60's... messed around in the yard...
found a pink pig standing guard near the pigvilion

and a coupla thickcut rib chops a little lower

those were marinated overnight in a medley of opened bottled marinades... not one stood out.
seared them a few minutes each side then indirect to finish them to a 140ºF internal temp

sautéed some onion with leftover SD9 corn and plopped it all over the smashed plated potatoes
served up supper very much like this ▼

Thanks for stoppin' by!

Man, I love yard and garden pictures! I'm always working this and that landscaping projects around the house too. And your's is very well kept. Great looking grub there too!

Heckova plate Jim!!! The yard and pigvilion are looking good too. BTW, just noticed you have 11K posts. Holy macaroni! Are you sure you have a day job?

Beware the revenge of the Pink Pig!
The P1garden looks great to me, and the chops look typical Lampe style, as in delicious!
