Thanksgiving Day

This is all the cooking I did on Thanksgiving Day. We had dinner with part of the family and took a Pumpkin Pie for our contribution. Of course, cooked on the little WSM.

Mixed up the dry ingredients and got a dough ball going.



Did the pie shell.



Got WSM going, Minion Method.



Getting pie filling going. Pumpkin puree and eggs.



Filled shell.



On WSM @425 for 15 minutes, lowered heat to 350 for another 30 minutes.



Pie done. I made a nice divot in the pie testing for doneness with a knife. Ooops.



Cooling on rack.



Great dessert. Everyone loved it. Topped with a little whipped cream. No plate shots as it got a little busy.

Pumpkin pie is my favorite so much so that it's requested for my birthday dinner which is during April, your pie looks perfect my friend, cheers!
 
Ditto to Rich, my next pie will be done on the WSM for sure. Cliff, congrats on that pie it is absolutely fantastic.
