Spent a few days last week in Chicago with my sisters and some friends from Michigan and Iowa that made the trip. We had a blast and spent time visiting museums (Science and Industry and the Field) as well as seeing other sites. One of the most beautiful places we visited was the Chicago Botanical Gardens and I could go there every day.

Here's a couple artsy picks from the gardens.....

Tonight's dinner. Start with some chicken thighs that I've deboned and loosely tied to hold their shape on the grill. I'm also making a teriyaki sauce, steamed broccoli, medium grain sticky rice and sliced tangerines.

Add a Chilean wine... a gift from a friend. The label is interesting so I've posted a pic. Now that I see it close up, maybe I should not have! Actually, the wine is very good. It's called Kuyen and a blend. Very tasty.

It seems a nice trip Pete. Nice pics.
Looking at your plate makes me hungry and looking at the bottle makes me thirsty.
So thank you very much;).
