and looks good. That's about the best thing I can say about this trainwreck of a planting season. Actually, a half acre worth of sweet corn doesn't fill the boxes very full at all...

Photo op was the only good thing about this day. Field still needs to be replanted. Should have sat at the tavern and played cards instead of burning diesel fuel and rolling mudballs.

Better post some food! This is one of the best things I've learned on tvwbb, turning leftover pulled pork into egg rolls. These things freeze in a vac bag almost as well as the pulled pork does. Homemade peach butter to dip in. Leftovers like this really hit the spot when you are working 15-20 hour days and eating too much gas station food!

I made these with store-bought eggroll wrappers, pulled pork, coleslaw, and a little bbq sauce. Fried in lard, and vac sealed as soon as they cooled off a bit.

Great post...love the photos...your reward is somewhere in the future for your hard work in the fields! I feel your struggle...with trying to find hay for my horses that isn't over priced due to last years draught. Now if the farmers could get this years first cutting off the fields here in Wisconsin!
