I haven't posted anything in a very long time so I thought I would be PSB and share.

Here is a 4 pound bottom round roast seasoned with Spicy Montreal Steak seasoning.


Peppers, onions garlic.


The roast right before joining the veggies.


I used Negra Modelo this time instead of a stout.


Shredded and ready to eat.


Sorry no plated pics, the remaining Negra Modelos went to the cook and was tired. We had them on toasted ciabatta bread and my wife made a mac and cheese. So far I think this is my best PSB yet.

Never used a bottom round roast before always used chuck roast, going to give that a try as it would be a little leaner. How long was it in foil before it was tender enough to pull?
Get enough rain this last week we sure did up here in Prescott!

I couldn't find a decent looking chuck roast and didn't feel like going to more stores to find one. It was in the foil with the veggies about 2.5 hours before I was easy to shred it. The rain is welcome but it's driving me a little nuts.
