Sunday Funday (lodge grill rehab and garden prep)

It's been a long while since I have posted. In my defense I don't have a computer so I went into hibernation haha. My dad sent me a link to check out the Superbowl picture thread on this forum. Found out that a app came out and it's excellent and very user friendly!
Excited to post my first thread
My Sunday funday consisted of rehabbing a lodge sportsman grill I bought from a buddy for 50$. cleaned it up using steel wool first. Then had a old cooler laying around so threw it in a vinegar water solution ( have a video showing the cool chemical reaction hopefully in good quality). After about a hour soak on all parts I scrubbed it down again with wool and then cleaned off with water. I then seasoned some parts and utilized the Weber gaser to help speed up the process. During my down time I was working on my pallet garden I started last fall. The front needs one more section and then I need to skirt the back with runners on the fence and throw bracing in for support.
I threw some ribeye steaks on after the first seasoning for a trial run. Figure I would overdo it and throw a ton of pictures and a video on here .

New ones are a buck fifty. They have 4 parts compared to your 6.

Nice restore and the steaks look great.
Looked for about two years for a used one....no luck went with a Jumbo Joe instead.
