Stuffed Pork Chops

Hi gang - It's been raining pork at my house. First I got some of Lucky's niece's 4-H hog; and recently, a co-worker gave me some chops from his hog: Thanks Heath! What makes a recipe idea pop into our noggin? I don't know either, but stuffed chops it is. Here they are takin' a bath in McCormicks' Montreal marinade



I saw a nice bunch of asparagus at the market



Stuffin: corn, onion, apple, breadcrumbs, S & P, sage and an egg.



I sliced 'em down the middle, back to the bone. Each one got a couple, three tablespoons of stuffing, and I toothpick'ed them shut.

Now that is a meal and a half there, I'm doing the same thing this week just picked up some nice chops yesterday. Hope they come out that fantastic, well done Brian.
 
Have not done stuffed chops in forever and yours look perfect! Of course! Brian. You've inspired me...stuffed chops pending!
 
My dad used to make us stuffed pork chops , but his technique was to put a scoop of stuffing on top of the chop and bake it in the oven. We loved those chops. Yours look fantastic.
