After years of dealing with flashlights , headlights etc I mounted lights on 12 ft poles. ( treated 2 X 4 X 12 ft.)
Origional was halogen fixtures because LED was too expensive but LED bulbs are getting cheaper so when the halogen bulbs burned out changed to normal screw in outdoor fixtures with standard size 15 W ( 1500 lumen bulbs)
Works great & pretty cheap.these are wired in but LED light at hunt camp is a plug into outdoor extension cord.
