St Louis style pork steaks using Steve's #5 sauce

A couple of inch thick pork steaks from Costco.
Indirect for a bit with cherry & pecan for smoke.
Then seriously seared.
Moved to a bath of #5 sauce, and covered on the grill.
Out of the bath for another sear to tighten and caramelize the sauce.
Served with corn, and a potato salad.









Spring like weather is finally here and this was a great way to celebrate its arrival.

Glad you finally got some spring weather Bob. You took full advantage. Great looking pork steaks and I like your technique as well.

Tasty, I bet. My wife would really like that, I'm sure - she's from the midwest and loves her pork.
 
Bob, that is an awesome cook. Pork steaks with #5 sauce perfect and the sides made the dinner. As always another great cook.
