Sriracha Orange Marmalade Flappers Snake Style

Gene Brownson

TVWBB All-Star
I have been wanting to smoke in one of my kettles for awhile, I haven't tried it until now. I haven't had smoked turkey wings, until now. I haven't used the snake method, until now.:D
I fired up the 22 OTS using the snake method. A couple of pieces of hickory and a drip pan with a little water in it. They cooked up nice. I was impressed with the kettle holding temps, 275/300 for quite awhile. We threw on some beer brats for later this week. Toni made up some sweet corn bread and greens. I had a Arnold Palmer to wash it all down. I glazed the wings with some Sriracha Orange Marmalade, never had, until now. :D Enough talkie talkie. Lets lookie lookie.;)

Here's about an hour into it.

And here's the finale'

I can see where this glaze will be good on pork also, loins, chops. It was very good. Thanks for looking everyone. I hope you all have a great week!:)

Your Friend,

Brother, not only does your food look fantastic, your photos are super! By Arnold Palmer do you mean
the lemonade/sweet tea mix? If so, I really like that and usually have a 6 pack or more hanging around. ;)

Gene this cook is making me so hungry!!! Nice job buddy...:)
Mind sharing this orange marmalade recipe?

Nice looking flaps for sure. Like those collards hanging close behind also.

Those wings look great. And if you didn't slice into at least one of those brats then you have much more willpower than I.

Exactly Mike! I get it by the gallon! I get it from Chic Fila. I get them to mix half of the unsweetened tea and half of the diet lemonade. I have to be careful, I can power through the whole gallon in one evening! :) Thanks Mike!

Not at all Tony. 18oz of orange marmalade, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/3 cup of honey and a 1/3 cup of sriracha. Combine all in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. You could always tweak to you liking. ENJOY!!

Fantastic looking cook !!!
As far as the orange-marmalade sriracha sauce....for those of you who have never tried it.....RUN don't walk to the nearest open grill and get something, anything on there that you can put this sauce on...
Yes it is THAT awesome !!!
