Spring BBQ opening

Hi all,

This weekend I have celebrated the opening of the BBQ Spring season for the family.

I baked a pumpkin pie, a meatloaf, based on Barb's recipe and a assorted grill: Morcilla, chorizo, wings (using Johnie's seasoning salt, skewers, etc.

I'm having problems to upload photos so I'm testing with this one ;)

As you can see the meatloaf was covered with bacon but it got burnt, almos burnt. I discarded it before it could give bad taste to the meatloaf.
What was the problem? Should I cover it with foil?

Anyway, it was a success. I have very good fans that eat everything. And it was a bit late, they were starving :p . It always helps.
 
Everything looks great, as far the bacon burning, I would have to guess it was too high pit temp, but that's only a guess

Yes, the temp was slightly high. The pumpkin pie got brown also, it lost its much too pretty orange that should have. I have to learn more about this machine :)
Next time I'll cover meatloaf with foil.
