Sometimes you gotta have a "non-dinner"

So phone calls and conversations resulted in “I’m not hungry”. First stop the Beer Store. Who can face a decision like that without beer? Next stop the supermarket. Jalapenos, cream cheese and peppers. We already had the meatballs. This is a “non-dinner”.

Here we go. Nothing special. The only important things here are Galena Street for the Choinks, (this stuff goes well with everything, even Twinkies I’ll bet), Penzeys Berbere for the ABT’s and Ballast Point Sculpin for the growler. This is one of three groups for the grill. Hey! I was hungry!

There are no “plated” photos. We ate, (grabbed), everything as it came off the grill. I did three rounds. Yes I NEED a 26” OTG.

My very best BUDDY, always “helping”.

As close to "plated" as we're going to get.

FWIW, we. I, truly enjoyed this cook today. Nothing beats family.

That's my favorite kind of dinner, Rolf. How did you use the Berbere? Did you mix it in with the ABT stuffing or sprinkle on top? I have the freebie size of that but haven't used it yet except for sprinkling a little over my spaghetti. I like my spaghetti spicy.

You nailed it Rolf: family, food (& beer!) Nice pics.

PS: my son has that growler, I keep tryin' to pinch it from him, but he won't give it up! Kids.

Good looking "non-dinner". I work at ballast point a few times a month and know all about that sculpin. Great beer!

Nothing like eating your non-dinner outside and hot off the grill with your family!! :) Everything looks fantastic, Rolf!

everything on that grill would last me about two minutes.
i'd wipe my mouth, turn around and look for more... like it should magically appear!

Rolf, how you like the Berbere?

Jim I'm still learning about the Berbere. One thing I can tell you though, do NOT put any on your tongue as a taste test. Please don't ask me how I know this............. :(
