Sometimes Grilling Isn’t Fun

Did a pork steak dinner 50/50 grill and stove. It was really pouring outside and very windy, so we elected to do the broccoli on the stove and the pork steak and part of the smashed potato on the big gasser.
Boiled the potatoes on the stove and baked them on the gasser. No grill pictures because the wind was blowing so hard it was soaking the gasser even under the covered patio and I didn’t want to open it up for pictures.

Also we’re redoing our grilling area and I’ve got all the grills, storage units, etc. on the covered patio so there really isn’t any room for pictures. But that will be another post.

Came out really good but a miserable cook.

Nice fall back cook Rich. That pork steak and plate look delicious. I'd been planning a "game day" cook for yesterday, but Saturday afternoon 35 to 40 mph winds came in and continued into Sunday, wiping out my cook. Still mid 90's here with a whopping rainfall total to date of 0.02 inches of rain. Anyway, nice job.

Boy that's got to be tuff. We went from high 80s -90s to today a high of 62 and more rain, wish I could send some your way.
Did a pot of chili on the stove for Monday night football. Not going to mess with trying anything outside until I get done with the new patios.

Great cook Rich & Barb even if it was raining. We got slammed up here yesterday. Nice that we have a covered deck I can grill on now.
