Some stuffed chicken

I had some guests here for a few days and they came back from the store with bone in chicken breasts, mushrooms and bacon, they then said hey grill master what can you make us with this?
What was I to do? First grab a beer
made an apple and bacon stuffing and made a simple rub, fired up the kettle to about 280 with cherry wood




rolled the mushrooms in my rib rub and rapped in bacon

put them on the wsm since I was smokeing eggs with hickory

used my basic sauce and added honey and apple jam for a glaze

Every thing looks great, cept that top handle.

Food wise you crushed it, proving that you are, indeed, the master.
 
Dave, you are indeed wise beyond your years. Had it not been for the prerequisite beer, the meal would have been merely great. HOWEVER - with the pre-cook libation, you knocked it out of the park! An excellent result!
 
Fantastic cooking Dave! Beautiful chicken and I love what you did with the mushrooms. I
have got to try mushrooms that way!
