I bought these gloves just for removing and cleaning the blade.Clean up takes a bit being careful with that sharp blade and those spikes on the pusher are sharp!

Not really. I remove the blade, wash it, set it aside to dry on a towel, wash the sliding part in the sink, set it aside to dry and then wipe the rest down. I leave it apart to dry, reassemble and it's good to go.One last question.
