SOLD: BESWOOD 10" Premium Chromium-plated Steel Blade Electric Deli Meat Cheese Food Slicer

That's a great deal. I bought the original slicer about 4 years ago, solely on Chris's recommendation, and I paid $298 + tax even back then.
If I remember correctly, that was a sale price.

I really like that red base on this one.

I just got done using mine for some shaved corned beef. 4# took no effort.
Clean up takes a bit being careful with that sharp blade and those spikes on the pusher are sharp!

One last question.

It seems to be quite an effort to clean which isn’t the case with my Chefs Choice or am I overthinking this??
Not really. I remove the blade, wash it, set it aside to dry on a towel, wash the sliding part in the sink, set it aside to dry and then wipe the rest down. I leave it apart to dry, reassemble and it's good to go.

I think you mean mandoline. Mandolin is an eight stringed Italian parlor instrument whose name means “never in tune”.
I know because I’ve been trying to tune mine for fifty years! A mandoline can cut your fingers off!
