I've been taking a little Christmas Vacation from TVWBB, now I'm back, fat and ugly as ever.

John Solak's posts about smashburgers, and using his SizzleQ griddle prompted me to finally try out my little griddle.

Warm, 40 degree evening yesterday, just son and I for supper.

One pound of regular 73/27 ground beef, diced onions, Santa Maria rub, and a splash of water mixed for the mini burgers.

When the first four were about done, I slid them to the side, and slid the griddle over a bit.

French fries prepared.
Note, at a buck a box these are the best frozen fries I have ever had, no matter the cooking method used.
(they have 2 other styles, regular cut, and tots)

The sliders were super, but I could only eat three, one left for today's lunch.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
Hope everyone has a happy and healthy New Year!!

Great looking burgers Bob!!! Were you able to get a good crust on them using the water? I have never seen the fries like that before, will have to look next time I'm at the store.

Great mini burgers...now I'm hungry and I just ate a ham sandwich. I can hear my Girth expanding

Mini burgers look good. I used to eat those fries all the time as a kid. They would go in the microwave and come out delicious. They disappeared for a long time but glad to see them back!

I am also glad to see those fries come back. When the boys were at home that is all they wanted with every meal. :D
Fantastic looking sliders and photos Bob!

OMG! That makes me want to go out and drink to much with my friends, then come to your house for food instead of the local slider(alcohol sponge) joint! ;) soooooo goooodddd!!!!!

Thanks everyone!

John,
Got a decent crust, but I used too much oil on the griddle to start.
White Castle slider copycat recipes called for a little water, probably not needed with fatty 73/27 ground beef.

Jim L,
That would be Stadium Sauce, not catsup. :)

Bob H,
Woot had a deal on these last month.

Ahh, sliders n ore idas. We just did some sliders last night, no fries though. I love crinkle cuts, my fav. Yours look good Bob. I like the "unmentioned" dust cutter you had there also. I know sometimes that ash gets to flying around n all when you're cooking outside, I just need one or two to clear it up a little. ;) Merry Christmas Bob!
