Smoked beef back ribs

What kind of wood did you use and rub?
 
thanks ,wood used ,2 pieces of oak, 2 sml pieces of apple.. rub was a mixture of,paprika, a little salt,pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, grillmates,bq rub, grill mates, steak rub, grill mates,montreal steak seasoning.made up about 1/2 cup of above..will go a little lighter with the rub next time.. ribs were a little bit salty,but still very good..

try only a little kosher salt and pepper sometime...
you'll be SHOCKED how AWESOME a little natural seasoning will taste on beef ribs.
 
I would have to agree with Jim. Last try with beef ribs kept the rub simple and wrapped with A1 sauce. Tender as could be and looked great.
