Smoke Weekend, worked around the weather

Awful weather on Long Island, got cold, windy and rainy starting around noon on Friday, ugh. Cut one cook (salmon) out of my plans thinking we’d be cooped up.
Saturday, had a small gap in the rain so did a quick 2 hour batch of smoked chicken wings. Used Pappy seasoning as the rub, came out great, might be my new go to for wings.

Finally got a break today, made some baby backs with two different rubs, one was Raichlens First Timer, the other was a coffee rub I thought might be good. 2 hours unwrapped, then was going to do an hour wrapped but sat at the beach a little longer with the wife, so more like 1.5 hours. when I wrapped them I added liquid, for the coffee rub ones I used butter and Cafè Patron, for the other used Killer Hogs and butter. Also grilled some corn, sautéed some cabbage, and smoked some potatoes. Great finish to the weekend.8E6914D9-B7A8-4721-8E47-932479E7A46B.jpeg
