Sirloin Tips with Mushrooms and Gravy

Dredged some sirloin tips in flour and browned some tips in batches in a CI skillet on the grill.



All browned and waiting to go back into the pool




Added a couple of packs of mushrooms




Gravy




Mixed it all together




Steamed some mixed veggies and placed the beef over some egg noodles.

 
Oh Boy! That looks real good!!! I bet the mushrooms gave a great load of flavor! I like how you crust the meat first! Man, and I was delivering in Rancho,and Sprung Valley yesterday and today!
 
That looks really delicious! I can't say I've ever made brown gravy. What's involved with making a brown gravy? I need to remake your dish!

Equal parts grease from what your cooking,oil or butter and flour, make a roux, add cold water or beef or chicken broth. add a little at a time to get your gravy to the consistency you want, add salt and pepper to taste. Add Kitchen Bouquet if desired. I added some to this.
