Last night we made some grilled chicken ceasar salads. Nothing too fancy, used chicken tenders as they were on sale. For the dressing we followed mostly http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/08/skinny-caesar-dressing.html . In the past we've found it to be a bit too lemony so we used just under the amount from the recipe. For the chicken we just did simple salt, pepper and granulated garlic. Made some croutons from Kate's bread which we did olive oil, salt, pepper, and a little granulated garlic. A few of them I added some truffle salt to, delicious.
Today was one of the first days here in Boston it was warm enough to be outside in t-shirts and shorts at night so we decided to bring out the table and chairs from last year. Since last year I've gained a OTP which made organizing the small deck space a bit more challenging, what do you think? Any suggestions on a better way to organize it. Right now I have it everything is usable without moving anything else, except the smoker which I'd pull out a bit if I'm using it. The OTP charcoal bin swings out with plenty of space to grab the charcoal without the gas grill getting in the way.
Let me know if you have any suggestions, a bigger deck does not count!
As for the cook. Chicken on the grill after first flip:
Plated, mine is on the right with a bunch of extra pepper and a whiskey smash. Kate has a paloma.
Overall was an amazing dinner, I really love ceasars.
Until next time,
Daum
