They showed sideways, never had that problem before.

As I posted earlier this month, my JJ fell off of the cargo rack on our camper because the ratchet strap loosened up.
The grands that we’re visiting wanted some chicken, so I hit the FB marketplace. I saw one about a half hour from here and asked if it was available, which it was
I got his address and went to look at it with $50 cash in my pocket
I got there and it was t just a JJ, it was a JJ Premium!!! The one with the 2 vents on the side instead of the daisy wheel on the bottom. And it was very clean! I quickly gave him my cash and left
First cook was BS thighs. Simple SPOG seasoning...

This is a cook I’m actually thrilled with. Between the high altitude and the new grill, I’ve had more miss than hits. This one was a hit (imho)

So, if you're posting from the phone that is the issue. Unless you go into "edit photo" not simply turn it over, and edit the photo to the proper orientation, then SAVE the photo in that orientation it will always default back to sideways
 
I know you're on Android and I'm an iPhone guy, but it's a common problem with iPhones. You whip out your phone and hold it horizontally to take a pic, but the camera doesn't rotate from portrait to landscape orientation and your photo ends up being sideways. They may look correct on the iPhone but when downloaded to my Windows laptop they're in the wrong orientation. On the iPhone, the key is to look at the zoom controls on the edge of the screen and make sure their orientation matches the orientation of your photo before snapping the shot. Maybe it's similar on Android?

But the photo is not sideways in my phone photo gallery.
And I rarely hold it horizontal.
Weird, I just tested some more pics and they all showed sideways.

Phone recently updated and doing a quick search it seems the "auto rotate setting" could be a problem.
Smart phones, yea right..
 
The experience I just had was I had iPhone "portrait" photos coming over sideways. I had to make one edit to the photo (did not matter what edit I made) and then it would bring it over correctly. Not sure what is happening but it was an easy fix but it doesn't make a lot of sense.
 
Weird thing we found out is if I take a pic holding the phone vertical it posts up here sideways, but if I take a pic with the phone held horizontal it shows up here properly.
And my settings are just regular "photo"
