Saturday night dinner for two - not alone this time!

After an enjoyable 7 mile dog walk in the morning and doing some weekend chores in the afternoon the thoughts turn to WTH are we having for dinner.

Quick whizz around the supermarket to find something a little lighter than those magnificent pork chops.

So it has to be chicken - wings, leg and thigh, plus some veg. no spuds or other carbs this time.

Thighs and legs get a quick marinade in harissa paste and yoghurt - could have done with a lot longer.

Wings get lemon juice, oil, S&P and paprika.

Veg is corn and asparagus.

Also tried non-jalapeno ABTs for the first time - can't get big enough jalapenos. Small sweet peppers stuffed with sweet chilli cream cheese (with extra red chilli) wrapped in streaky bacon.

Further inspired by others on here, having a desert too - grilled nectarines and salted caramel ice cream.

Started with the bigger chicken pieces, corn and peppers.

Got the thumbs up from the boss. Maybe because it saved her cooking?

He shoots...he scores!
I have yet to find anywhere that sells big jalapenos for ABT's. :( Good call using those baby sweet peppers.
Nice use of the harissa too. I've only used it for Moroccan style lamb.
