We invited Jo Anne's brother over for dinner last Saturday.
He became a widower late last year, is an empty nester, and does not like cooking.
But he does have a Weber kettle, and a Genesis, so I'm working on him to grill more, even if it's for one.
Chuck eyes, grill-baked potatoes, and salad were on the menu board.
I had planned to cool smoke them a bit, but the sky and our tummies started growling, so they went down on top of the baskets of lump.
Plated.
Knowing John's favorite dessert is lemon anything, I made a lemon Bundt cake.
A fine meal and visit!
Yesterday it was the bird's turn.
Marinated in Wicker's w/added lemon and a bit of sugar.
On the spit with some Penzey's AZ Dreaming.
Turned to a fare the well.
My un-colorful plate with salt boiled reds, and corn.
A Weberlicious weekend to be sure!
Hope everyone's weekend was great too!
(to make up for my un-colorful plate pic, here's one of Jo's dinner plate hibiscus.)
