Found this recipe for chicken thighs, but used B/S breasts instead

on the Weber

turned and basted quite often

served with fresh garden peppered green beans and oven roasted potato chips with Delicata squash

very good stuff all around!
then we got those large Idaho spuds on with sliced up onions in cast iron baby skillets

like one and ½ inch thick chuck eyes...

then served dinner with sautéed asparagus with sweet red chili peppers

another wonderful dinner with amazing flavours!

and finally, ROOT BEER brat bath... not regular root beer, nope. This is the HARD root BEER
onions, jalapeno and poblano peppers with a few banana peppers in the mix.
then poured in 24 ounces of the hard root beer
also added some Maull's BBQ sauce along with Saz's BBQ sauce

giving the brats some colour....

then in the tub

chunks of bacon for the cook...

while the brats were soakin' away, the last of the patty pans were added to the Weber grill

then served up with cheeses under the sausage and the pepper/onions atop & wurst sauce covering it all

Jim... Some really good grub there... Those onions in the skillets look very impressive and delicious... You've definitely got some skills my boy!
 
Jim, it all looks great, but please tell me more about the potato chips in the oven. Do they get crispy? Thanks.
 
Nice combo post Jim!! You always do it up right!! I dig it all but I would have to take the brats over the rest!! Chuckies are a close second but man those dogs look super tasty!

I have to agree. Not that I'd turn my nose up at the she-cone :D....but the brats blew my mind....and the chuck eyes look so beefy and delicious. I am amazed as usual.
