Salmon & Sausage

Salmon was on sale so I picked up a piece. Topped with EVOO, S&P and some lemons. I also had some chicken sausage with feta and spinach that needed to be cooked. Rounded it out with some baked beans. Sorry, only one picture, I got kind of busy and forgot to snap any more.

Everything was good. I am really hooked on "baking" the beans on the grill in CI. They get a slight crust on the top if you leave them there long enough.
Thanks for looking.

Looks good Pat, you need to try Cliffs root beer beans... good stuff! Lets try not to be a slacker on the pictures, you know how much we like them;)

Sorry........ I was too lazy to grab the DSLR and snapped this one on my phone. I find I take a lot more pictures when I'm using my big boy camera.

Seeing your chicken sausage and salmon together on the grill makes me wonder what it would be like to make a chicken & salmon sausage together?

Looks great. Salmon is always great.
I cook it with a grillgrate to lift it up and let the air move between foil and salmon.

I don't foil salmon, I kind of like the skin to stick to the grill and I just peel the meat off the skin then when the grill is cooler the skin will lift right off (mostly)
I too have become a fan of CI beans and second go potatoes!
Make twice the number of boiled baby potatoes, red, Yukon, fingerling, purple whatever you have. Boil to delightful perfection with a whole head of garlic (separated but not necessarily peeled), drain, liberally add butter and fresh snipped chive and or parsley. Enjoy.
Second go-
Melt a nice portion of butter in a CI skillet, add the previously enjoyed potato leftovers in and cover with foil, smash them gently with the bottom of another skillet(one that fits inside the first) and slide them on the grill!
I did this at the cottage to use things up before leaving and the grandchildren went nuts for them!

That is one awesome cook it all looks fantastic. Like Rich said you need to try Cliff's root beer beans, they are to die for.
