Salmon on the restored 420 green Performer.

TVWBB Hall of Fame
I am almost finished with the exception of the gas assist (in case anyone has some extra parts to sell). I was really not sure I was going to like using it, but was surprised when the cook went so well. I used my Craycort given to me by Jon R. AJ was also a big help guiding me on the restoration. Thanks guys! If anyone has any idea what this color was called or has a Weber this color please share.

Have a smokey Sunday everyone!

Nice looking salmon Shaun!! Looks like the grill worked perfect! I love those type of performers...I pass a burgundy on the way to work every morning! Been tempted once or twice to stop and see what kind of deal I can make!

So Shawn how much time have got into this unit, then what parts are you needing to bring this up to a gas assit? Hose and regulator, or do you need the flame tube and ignitor also. What did you do with the ash can? Looks great I like that.

Kevin </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Thanks for all of the great feedback everyone! Kevin, I think I need the flame tube and ignitor. I believe it will work, but are really rusted. Here it is. I might try and clean it and then hook it up again. It turned on when I bought it.

I painted the ash can and ring because it was rust stained. I just wanted it to look clean. I also painted and mounted the steel wheels with bearings you see and made a new wider axle to accomidate them since they are a little wider.

Looks great Shaun! And now you know where to find a matching apron.

I think this performer was one of the ones from Crate & Barrel Stores. Nice fish BTW! link to C&B current performer...
