Sometimes being retired has some perks. One of them is when your youngest son is off too and says, “Ribs tonight”? Off we went and so it began. Mr. Cosgrove, I guess great minds think alike.

Buddy was in his usual “Defending the Q mode”. Gotta love a dog with a purpose like that.

The dog also has a “pepper problem”.

Life is good. Southern Tier 2XIPA in the growler and tunes for the cook.

Ribs at three hours getting hit with apple juice…… action shot for Mr. Lampe and showing off my new shirt.

One side, gus with tarragon butter sauce. Onion rings and garlic bread are waiting inside.
