reinvent cooking the burger?

First off, I apologize for the 1/2 @$$ pics. It was only 9 degrees out with a negative wind chill. My phone tapped out after the first pic. They actually came out really moist and juicy. It traps all the drippings in the cup. Fills it about half way. About 20min into the cook I flip the burgers and it soaked most of it up. It comes out more like a slider then a good char broil burger. No plated pics. I finished it with a sweet hollandaise sauce and Hawaiian bread rolls. (perfect size) Enjoy.

They use that pan in Damn Good Barbeque to make some sliders that look amazing! Of course, everything in that book looks delicious!

It's almost a lazy way of doing it. You don't half to worry about your burgers turning into meatballs! Another cool thing is, you can add a splash of Worcestershire sauce (or your sauce of choice) to the cup. You can also pack some onions or bacon in the bottom.

Love the idea of some sweet hollandaise on a burger.

Well here you go. Between the CI muffin pan and the hollandaise sauce it breaks up the traditional "BBQ Burger" Use a Hawaiian roll for a bun and freak your buddy's out with your talent of burger cooking.

This enough for 4-5 burgers

1/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup finely chopped dill pickles (I use a small processor)
2 tablespoons of spicy brown mustard or Dijon
2 tablespoon of your favorite BBQ sauce(or ketchup, but turn in your man card)
1/2 teaspoon of sugar(more to taste after chill down)
Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Mix everything and let it chill down for about an hr in the fridge. Then add your pepper and sugar to taste
