Evening folks...you know something things are just meant to be...I've been keeping an eye open for a deal on a little weber q grill for the boat and camping..today was my day!! The wife and I were waiting for our parent teacher conference this morning so I checked Craig's list while we were in a holding pattern and low and behold this critter just got posted!

An older model but super clean...pretty sure it was a garage coat rack for years..works for me..50 bucks beats 250..sold!!
Ok so a bit colder tonight but heck..gotta celebrate the new grill find!! Halibut tacos! My daughter was instructed to get some halibut out of the freezer, pulled out the smallest package of fish she could find out of the freezer(guess she didn't want to eat) made up a quick batter and got ready to chunk up this fish!

Chucked up and sprinkled with a local seafood seasoning..fired up the grill and ...oh ya it's chilly tonight!

Ok let's finish this up...tacos with cabbage soaked in lemon juice and hot sauce, beans with cheese and sour cream!! Good good good!

Where to start.... 1st off your fish taco's & bean's look great gotta love some valentina cheap but d@mn good ...#2 You scored big time on the Q grill & last but not least Kid tested & Kid approved.
 
Good things happen to good people Morgan; glad that Q went to you! The fish tacos look great and your son is sure enjoying them - Wonderful stuff!

How will you mount the grill to the boat? I have a 24' deck boat and am thinking about adding a gas canister grill. Everyone has Magma(s) because for the various mounting options but I want to stick with Weber.

Wow Congrats on that new grill!! Like you said it looks like its been hardly used, look at that grate, it looks as good as new!!!

Fantastic looking fish tacos too!!! I love Halibut too but to get fresh here its over $20 a Lb. to rich for my blood!!
 
Morgan nice CL PU, and it is finally going to shine in your hands. Great looking Tacos Bud, how did you like the Rounder. I enjoyed a few of mine for sure.

Bill the beer was excellent...actually had it a few weeks ago in the blue moon harvest pack sampler...I was glad to see you can get this one by itself now!!

Dwain...the grill is just gonna get set on the transom when in use..I have too much fishing gear on deck to mount it..those magma's are nice though..I had the charcoal version for another boat we owned years ago..
