Hi All,
I'm leaving on a trip to NC to shoot the foliage and with so many to do(s) I needed something quick last night. Burgers was the choice so out came the SJS. I used the Omaha Steaks irradiated beef and they turned out great but a little too fatty. I realize now that if I'm going to cook burgers medium/medium rare I don't need a fatty grind. I will be trying ground sirloin next....
So on to the pics:
I bought this at the Omaha Steaks store - it is delicious on the burgers:
Burgers on - side one:
And then on to side two - never covered them because I didn't need to cook them well done:
And my plate, Kaiser burger buns and some Sea Salt and Vinegar kettle chips on the side:
