whatever will be, will be.

Put a 3.5 lb. butt on the bullet at 8 AM, with plans to remove it at 5 PM, pull-able or not.
No internal temps taken, ran at about 275 hood.
Mix of rubs, apple and cherry for smoke.
8 AM.

Fried up some reds with lots of onion.

Some was pull-able, some was slice-able, all was good-able.
A sprinkle of Penzey's AZ Dreaming on everything, and a dollop of hot sauce on spuds and pork.

I really need to liven up my plated shots.

Cabin fever, and winter blahs are setting in big time.:(
But y'all cheer me up, and inspire me with your fine cooks!:)

2-1/2 hrs./lb. is similar to the times I see with Farmland minimally processed butts. Bob, just out of curiosity what brand was this?

I hear you about the winter blahs...mix in a case of the sniffles and it can be tough to get motivated!

I thought that's the hot sauce was for.

Good Job Bob I agree with you on the winter blahs we are supposed to get a foot today/tonight. And I'm not talkin beach sand.

Thanks everyone!

Brad,
No name brand, stores here sell 'em fresh by the ton.
Often cut into pork steaks.

This one was from Schnucks Market, and they pride themselves with "No Salt or Water Added" to all their pork products.
