I cooked the money muscle half of a pork butt Sunday, along with some rib tips.
Not sure what the boneless 1/2 butt weighed, it was fairly small, but the darn thing hit two stalls, one at 166, then again at 185.
Total cook time was about 8.5 hours, tips done in about 4.5. Smoker ran in the 260/270 range.
I had mine on an Idaho, rolled in melted bacon fat, then covered with sea salt.
Hope nobody cringes at the sight of sour cream on pulled pork.
