Prime Rib-eye on Weber Chimney

Bach'd it over weekend so figured I'd have fun with fire. Did another chimney steak. Total cook time 5 minutes. Great sear with a nice char on the outside, perfect temp on the inside for my tastes. If you haven't done a chimney cook I highly recommend, they're a lot of fun.

Done it many times and yours look excellent with my favorite meal combo. You should try it directly on hot lump or wood coals next, even better

Bill, it sounds like you have been watching "Good Eats". Seem to remember Alton Brown using that technique. Sounds Good.

It's a Prime Rib-eye steak that I cooked over a Weber chimney . . . and it was delicious :)
gotcha! :)
but you probably did not get my low attempt at humor...
The Prime Rib-eye steak that you cooked over a Weber chimney looks Fabulous Larry!

Love the chimney for steaks Larry. It is like cooking on a jet engine. Great looking surf and turf there - eases the pain of the family being away don't it?

Regards,

John
