Post Storm Quickie Meal

Thankfully, we had power throughout the storm. My thoughts go out to any in our BBQ community that are still without power this morning.

Here's the view from the garage starting yesterday's cleanup. The two mounds to the right are my children's cars.

I did manage to clear a path out back and get the grills uncovered...

A simple and quick cook of Lemon Pepper Chops marinated using Penzeys Lemon Pepper Seasoning, Water, Soy, Veggie Oil and minced Garlic.

My wife cooked up some cheesy pasta, broccoli and a salad for sides. Sorry no plated pics, but the kids were itching to get out of the house!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

I miss my 2 stage blower. It is winter, snow is supposed to go with it! Losing power, not so much. At least you got the BBQs uncovered!

Great looking chops!!! You have kids living at home and have a snow blower? My Dad didn't get a snow blower until AFTER I move out!!

Nice Walter. I'm with John. As long as I lived in my parents house I don't think I ever saw my father shovel snow or many other things. I thought that was normal......and I'm glad he did. :)

That being said, I love my snow blower ;)

John and Gene, I'm with both of you. My Dad bought a blower in my late teens and it quickly became my job to clear the snow. Thing is, I loved doing it. I still do.

My son is a senior in college and spent 20+ hrs plowing with one of his buddies. He gets a pass. My girls helped with the shoveling. Lots of stairs and crannies the blower can't get to.

My Dad turned 80 last summer and I'll be picking him up tomorrow night to go to the local Golden Gloves. We've had season tix for many years....not a huge boxing fan, but the night out makes it....my Son comes when he can....it's all good!

Warmer weather this week...the overpaid woodchuck may have been right on the early spring coming!

Great looking cook, Walter. Is your performer a 2013 Brick Red Platinum? I've been strongly considering buying one but have been discouraged by a review on amazon stating that the brick red is actually brown and not red.

From your pics, it looks to be red like the pictures weber provided amazon. And a nice red too..
