Pork Tenderloin, Spuds, and a Choke with the new K

I still have some of the older style Kingsford, but opened a bag of the new stuff for this cook.
My opinion about it is the same as others who have tried it, and Chris A's test burn.
Lights fast, burns plenty hot, and lasts long enough to get the job done and then some.
Little if any difference between the two, thankfully.

Foiled red potatoes with onion and garlic, plus a halved artichoke foiled with a little lemon water get a head start.

Meant to only let the choke go for 1/2 hour, was distracted and it went for 1 hour.

Out and direct with garlic olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

1.8 lb. tenderloin with Weber Steak & Chop seasoning.

Don't let the pink fool you, it was 140 when pulled for the rest.

A fine meal before watching the Cardinals sweep the Reds!

Happy Spring everyone!!

Well done Bob, that looks perfect! Agree with your comment, been going back and forth with the old and the new charcoal, I can't detect any difference.

Bob, the only thing that rivals your food is your photography! Gorgeous cook and your pictures are fantastic. Dogwood won't grow in our climate. I love it. Drive 30 minutes up towards Shingletown (4,000 ft.) and it's all over the place.

Bob,
That pink didn't fool me. It looks perfect! The entire meal looks great. Gotta give them chokes a try.

Everything looks great, but that slice o pie looks downright sinful! It's so dark, I wouldn't have even guessed it was chocolate!

Awesome Bob! I think i would let it rise a bit more in temp(or atleased double check my thermometer). Nontheless a killer plate. When we were driving around in CA(around the Monterey area i think) we saw some huge artichoke fields. Dident know what it would look like. Pretty cool for an uninformed Swede.

Thanks all for the kind comments!

Daniel.
Cooked to 140-ish before rest.
My Thermapen is tuned in, but my photo's are maybe over saturated.
I'm still alive, for now. :)

All looks real good Bob. Beautiful dogwood. We're waiting for the lilacs here at the new place to start blooming.
