Pork Steaks

Wanted to cook up some pork steaks on the grill last night. So I headed out to the market got my supplies and headed home. First thing I did was season the pork with some plowboys yardbird rub. Then I seasoned the veggies up and headed out to set up the grill for an indirect cook. Used some r/o lump with four small pieces of peach wood for the fire. Put the pork steaks on the grill sat back had a few brews and couple makers mark neat. Let the pork get happy and threw the veggies on the genesis. At the end of the cook I threw on some veggie beans which I doctored up with a little brown sugar some bbq sauce and cayenne pepper. Here's the fruit of my labor in pics.

Great looking steaks, Bobby. Like your set up with the fire bricks. Never seen peach chunks bagged like that out here. Peach and cherry are my favorite. I can find cherry, but I've had to order my peach on line. I'll be on the lookout for it. Three or four of those Torpedo's and I could probably smoke with an old broom handle and it wouldn't matter. Great job.

Thanks Cliff, I don't know if you can tell or not but I'm using the fire bricks underneath the grates as well. They worked out pretty good.
