Pork Chops with a New Teriyaki Marinade

A while ago John Sp posted a tread about some teriyaki pork chops he did and provide a copy of his homemade teriyaki marinade and sauce.
http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?62684-Rainy-Weekend-Teriyaki-Pork-Chops.
I finally got around to trying it and knowing how creative John is I knew it would be more of a traditional teriyaki.
Well I have to admit John nailed it, his marinade and sauce are perfect in my opinion. Great flavor and not a complete salt bomb like most of the store types.
I had a rouge pork steak hiding out in the back of the freezer and used it for my cook.
Barb made some smashed taters and Brussels sprouts as sides.
This sauce will be my go to from now on.
Thanks John.

Just a light char on direct then indirect to finish.

Thanks for the kind words Rich - I'm sure the quality of your dinner was more attributable to your skill than my sauce recipe. In any case I'm glad you enjoyed it...

Regards,

John

I know how I'm cooking my next pork chops. Nicely done Rich and thanks to you (and John) for the recipe

Looks outstanding Rich. Expertly prepared and a great recipe from a great cook. Hmm, how about chicken breasts???

Agreed, that's my next thing to try with John's recipe. A 24 hour marinade and use the sauce for basting, should be off the hook good.
