Here's how my St Pattys day cook went down...started off in he am with a 5 lb corned brisket simmering on low in the crock pot and went to (yuck) work...came home and fired up the grill and poured an ice cold "Irish Death"

Got some traditional Irish soda bread together and on the performer at about 450 ish

Bit later it was ready...about 30 minutes or 2 beers

Once the bread was off it was Jameson and coke and pulled the CB out of the crock and added some hickory smoke to the performer..

Getting some color!!

And served up..warm soda bread, roasted reds and corned beef with horseradish sauce!!

Good Pattys day meal!! Thanks for looking!!

Take care folks!!

Great cook Morgan. You've really got me interested in the soda bread.
Another great looking meal,
Tim

Man you really pulled all the stops Morgan. Great holiday meal - and I love the blend of techniques - I never would have thought to smoke my CB after braising it. I bet that tasted great!

Regards,

John

Morgan, that was an outstanding patty meal and I love the bread. A friend gave me her recipe, so I will be making more of it.
