Yeah, it doesn't make sense, but my 10 year old daughter had been wanting to make sushi for a few days and I thought we'd better do it before the crab went bad. So while her and her mom worked on that, me and my 16 year old daughter worked on the broccoli beef out on the kettle.
This work table really comes in handy for wok cooking outside.
Cut up some flank steak for it, in the sizzling hot wok.
After adding the broccoli. I actually made two batches, one teriyaki, and one a thicker chili sauce.
Egg for the noodles. Half the family likes white rice, the other half, including me, prefers noodles.
Noodles with the egg, stir fry oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, and toasted sesame seeds.
One kid's plate with the sushi in the center. I think I'm the only one that used the soy sauce with wasabi.
My oldest daughter is quite upset though. Not only is it Cinco de Mayo, but it's also Taco Tuesday, and we had oriental. Don't worry. I'm getting ready to go make some margaritas.
