A 14# prime rib cookout to celebrate Mother's Day and new jobs for my brother & myself. First time cooking prime rib and was a bit nervous, but Google, YouTube, and WKC & TVWBB helped out tremendously. I split the prime rib into 2 smaller 7# roasts and cooked indirect in my newly acquired & rehabbed red SS performer at 340-350. I used Stubb's and a few chunks of Apple wood. I kept the rub simple by following Franklin's 2 part pepper to 1 part salt. The prime rib were pulled when the Maverick measured 125 and the results were pretty good for a first time prime rib cook.
