Off the air for awhile

Wow Rich! Hope all goes well with the recovery.
I do remember catheters, not fondly, after my prostate surgery.
On the plus side, full time cooking could not be in better hands.

As usual Bob said it best in everything from the prostate surgery to your beautiful full time chef. Please accept my very best wishes for a safe and swift recovery.

Dude, that's a really tough one. OUCH! Hang in there, get well soon & keep on Q'n.
And lets all get some rain real soon.

A grandson will be a HS senior this year and plans to go to college in Montana. He and dad are going up to check it out from home in Colorado.
They're making it a 10 day fishing/sightseeing/camping adventure through Wyoming.
My son said it's much more wet and green up there and a lot of snow pack. Heavy runoff is causing problems with their fishing.
Not sure if these will show up, taken from Facebook.
Grandson fishing and a small catch:

Very cool Bob. The pictures remind me of when Barb and I use to go up to the Bishop Calif area and fly fish the streams up there, yep Barb does that too. I have a St Croix 7'6" 3wt fly rod with a super light fly and leader catching one of those little brookies was like catching a huge bass on a regular pole. We did catch and release with barbless hooks. With the beautiful scenery it was the most relaxing thing we've ever done. And yes I did catch my share of tree and bush branches with my back casts.:p
Really miss that.
Thanks for sharing.

Gee Rich, if I could I’d come out and give Barb a break but, I have a bathroom project that we have been putting off for too long, will keep you in our prayers for the speedy recovery you, and Barb, deserve!

You're welcome Rich.
Here's a couple more. Not a Weber, I need to talk to that boy. :)
Back straps from a doe my son killed last fall.

Last night Barb worked all day doing her things and mine also, then instead of ordering a take out delivery pizza she made one from scratch. Made the dough, sauce and cut up fresh basil from the garden. It was a Skillet Pizza Margarita from the Cooks Country book "Cook it in Cast Iron". It was super good
Then this morning she made a pepperoni and a pineapple Canadian Bacon to freeze for future use using the same basic recipe.
She is being a full time nurse and a house keeper, a puppy walker and a cook while I have to sit on my butt.
I'm blessed to have this lady in my life.
