Been a rough couple of weeks. Works been crazy busy, and I'm still working on the kitchen! But I promised myself that I was gonna get some cooking in!
First,Pammi had a shower thingy to go to. Have fun! I got a small pack of wings and liberally seasoned them with Weber's Kickin' Chicken.

They got just a little extra GBD,but were still tasty! Served with some blue cheese dressing from TJ's. Just the sort of lunch a remodeler needs! ;):blackkettle:

And a local grocery store had St. Louis style ribs on sale,so I had Pammi pick up a slab. Seasoned with the last of some Weber Sweet and Tangy rub, they went on the WSM shortly after lunch! I cooked them MM at about 225* for about 4 1/2 hours. I used some of the leftover coals from lunch to get the WSM going! Hey,waste not, want not!

After about 3 1'2 hours,I put a very small can of baked beans in a small Pyrex dish and heated them up beside the ribs. This is them after I sauced 'em once.

I cracked the door to bump up the heat and sauced them a couple more times with the last of some Stubb's bourbon and hickory sauce. Gonna have to get some more. That was a good combo!
That's the end of the pics. Thanks for looking! :wsm22:

A remodeler has to have sufficient nutrition to get the job done and you did an excellent job there Phil!

Great job Phil chicken and ribs look awesome! Stubbs bourbon and hickory sauce is great on anything but try it on a smoked meat loaf its wonderful.

Phil,
Looks great!

How's the Pyrex hold up on the grill? Residue? Greasy? Easy to clean up?
Like most those darn lids are never to be found and u got me thinking about a secondary use for the containers

Thanks
Kurt

Greg/Kurt,the Pyrex did fine! I wouldn't have put it on either the kettle or gasser, but in the low and slow of the smoker it did fine! Pammi rinsed it out and put it in the dw. Won't know for a couple days how well it cleans up.
