For Independence Day we went to Laguna Beach and spent our weekend there.

I was told no grilling allowed so I took seafood and made sandwiches there. But when I got there we saw lots of people with grills. Next I will call to verify.

Of course I was talking to some of the People grilling and this guy was one of the more advanced guys with a cool set up.



I even helped some guys start their fire. I over heard him say that it's been an hour and the fire is not lit yet. In Less than 5 minutes I had fire going. And 30 minutes later I passed by and they were grilling.

We had a great time at the beach and continued the party at the hotel.



Sunday morning breakfast to make my self feel better after a fun weekend. To many stories to tell and meet lots of great people this weekend.

Brings back a lot of memories, spent lots of time on the beach there and anyplace from San Clemente to Huntington Beach.
 
That was Rich and mine play ground for over 25 years. Its a great area to have fun for sure.
 
I think I was your kids age the last time I went to Laguna Beach. I need to fix that....Looks like you had a great time. Bummer about not bringing your grills, you gotta remember we live in communist-kalifornia, where fun is against the rules

I don't know if you saw one of my post where someone at the park didn't like my weber grill I and the smoke it was giving out.

Nothing better than time with the family. Sucks when things like work/chores/life get in the way.
 
This is amazing to me that people are that afraid of fires not to mention you have cooler full of ice and water.
I guess it is ok to smoke and throw you lite butts out the window through.
It looks like you guys had a great time.
you just proved you do not have to grill to have good food and fun.

Looks like a nice family weekend. I used to love going to the beach when I lived out there. Man I don't know what I would do if someone told me I couldn't grill. Either start looking for a job out of state or something more drastic. We need to set you up with a 'Don't Tread on Me' BBQ flag or something. Maybe the TVWBB folks should chip in and roll up with one of those semi sized grills and throw down some righteous Q for all the folks on the beach. Let the chips fall where they may...
