Tried out the new DBARD (Doggie Bowl Alien Ray Deflector) tonight with some chicken and corn on the bone.
Marinated the Chicken in a balsamic salad dressing. I used almond for the smoke.
Barb did her corn on the bone and a super good watermelon caprice salad using sliced watermelon instead of tomatoes.
The DBARD worked faultlessly cooking the chicken and corn perfectly on the Jumbo Joe. The balsamic
salad dressing worked very well and had a great flavor. With Barbs corn and watermelon caprice salad it was a great dinner.
You can’t beat $2.97 for a vortex vs $40.00, not to say that the manufactured vortex is bad at all, it’s much heavier SS and will undoubtable last longer, it’s also shaped a little better and definitely worth the money.
This was an inexpensive way to see if this is what I want and how much I’ll use it
If I continue to use the DBARD I’ll probably pop for the real deal at some point.
