"New" 26er off of CL

I was pursing cl the other day and came across a Weber 26er for $200.00 so I couldn't pass that up.

I contacted the seller and offered $150.00, it took him awhile but he finally accepted and all of the sudden all of this was in the back of my truck as I drove away

I was excited to fill the gap on my patio and to tell you the truth this was the last grill that I have been considering.

Started unpacking the box and I noticed this damage on the inside of the lid.

At the price I paid, I knew I was taking a risk.

More damage, but fixable

I get the impression that someone purchased a new 26, there was damage and Weber probably just shipped them a new one let them keep the damaged one and cut their loss.

I found the charcoal grate to be interesting

This thing is huge and with all of the damage the lid fits like a dream which is what is important. I'm thinking of keeping the wheels like this.

The new pup approves, every time we break a camera out, she just assumes it's for her.
